Who's Onboard in 2010

We have some additional crew at times during our 2010 voyage.

The Laird at his castle. Jack's maternal family descends from the Rose clan, and Kilvarock Castle sits outside of Inverness. Sammie and Jack helped us take the boat through the Caledonian Canal.

Intrepid sailors Patti and Dave joined us on the Clyde Cruising Club's Centenary Cruise from the West Highlands of Scotland to the Outer Hebrides and back.
	Our nephews Doug and Drew visited us as part of a summer romp through Western Europe.

About Us

Art's the undisputed captain of Second Wind. It's his seventh boat in a time span of four decades. He plans our itineraries and all the entry requirements, manages the library of charts and cruising guides, maintains the vessel's many systems and electronics and does more than a person's share of household maintenance.

Karen's boat responsibilities are mostly on the software side, literally and figuratively. She writes the boat applications for inventory and maintenance, manages the touring, keeps a detailed journal, updates the web site, and cooks up a storm onboard. We both think we get the better deal.
